What a refreshing pleasant visit at a Toronto spa. A great spa experience has become harder and harder to find. I really liked the boutique feel and personalized service. I arrived 20 minutes early and was warmly greeted at reception. Formalities of medical forms complete, refreshments offered looked delicious. Tea, snacks that cater to all dietary needs.
Heading upstairs to the men's locker room I changed into a robe. I was greeted by my massage therapists. I have had over 500 massages and this one with Kevin was exceptional. Both stylistically relaxing induced me to the verge of sleep. Technically superior to MANY massages that I've received, every ache was massaged away. Great pressure and a truly enjoyable massage.
After a quick pause, I received a facial. All the standard attention to detail you would expect of a full-service Spa. Knowledgeable and professional. I am someone with a closet full of face products. 2 days later my face feels soft, supple and noticeably hydrated. I know you should not touch your face, but it feels velvety soft :-).
Quick dip in the pool and sauna before I had to run off to lunch. Nice touch with the heated pool that actually feels comfortable to float in and stay content. It was nice to feel spacial. While seeing other visitors in the spa, I did not feel part of a factory production line that is so often the case. Love to say I'll be back, but then again I've already booked my next massage!
The message was spectacular - will definitely go back for another. The facial was good - 1 hour and 20 minutes but was left for 20 minutes with a mask on my face so feel it could have been shorter. Went during the week at 10am and there was only two other people there at with me - definitely nice and relaxing .
